The President of Uzbekistan met with the Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group

As part of his visit to Seoul, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Jin Ok-dong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, the press service of the head of our state reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding financial cooperation and implementing investment projects in infrastructure, renewable energy, and industry.

Satisfaction was expressed regarding the signing of an agreement to provide credit lines to commercial banks in Uzbekistan. Particular attention was paid to the establishment of a Shinhan Bank subsidiary in Uzbekistan.

Interest was voiced in attracting new financing instruments and “green” loans, as well as in developing digital banking and specialized solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
