A meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain

On March 7, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov held a meeting with British Deputy Foreign Minister Leo Dockerty via videoconference. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UK on the implementation of the agreements concluded during bilateral political consultations in December 2022.

An exchange of views also took place on the further development of bilateral trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other ties.

The parties reached an agreement to take active efforts to further advance the Uzbek-British relations.
