The Chinese side expressed its full readiness for systemic cooperation in all priority areas discussed, strengthening trade and economic ties, and intensifying delegation exchanges with the goal of elevating interregional partnership to a qualitatively new level.
During the talks, the importance of establishing sister-city relations between the regions of Uzbekistan and Inner Mongolia to expand direct contacts was emphasized. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize reciprocal visits by delegations in the near future for the practical implementation of projects in the trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres.
Inner Mongolia is one of China’s largest and most strategically important economic regions. Boasting abundant natural resources, the region boasts highly developed livestock farming and other industries.
The autonomous region has a population of 23.8 million, and its gross regional product exceeds $383.9 billion. The region’s main agricultural crops are wheat, corn, soybeans, potatoes, and forage crops. This offers significant opportunities for the Uzbek agricultural sector to exchange expertise and expand mutual product supplies.
