The progress of major investment projects with Saudi Arabia was reviewed

As part of the inaugural meeting of the Council of Investors in the Fuel and Energy Sector, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Mohammad Abunayyan—co-chair of the Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia Business Council and Chairman of the Board of ACWA Power, the press service of the head of our state reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further expanding practical cooperation and accelerating the implementation of priority joint projects.

In recent years, Saudi companies have shown growing interest in the Uzbek market. As a result, major investment projects are being carried out in sectors such as green energy, modern infrastructure, high technology, healthcare, and others.

The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to elevating bilateral practical cooperation to a new level through the timely and high-quality execution of previously reached agreements.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Saudi investors expressed their appreciation for the favorable environment for investment activities that has been established in Uzbekistan.
