Since the beginning of the year, Uzbekistan has increased the export of apricots by more than a third

Uzbekistan in January-May exported 2.8 thousand tons of apricots to foreign countries in the amount of about 3 million US dollars.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the export of apricots increased by 747 tons, or 36 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.

Most of all, our country exported apricots to Russia (1.5 thousand tons), Kazakhstan (860 tons) and Kyrgyzstan (429 tons) in 5 months.

The regions that sold the most apricots abroad were Fergana (1.2 thousand tons), Khorezm (311 tons) and Tashkent (236 tons) regions.
