The head of MIIT met with the representatives of TÜV NORD

On March 24, the working program of the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, continued with a meeting with representatives of TÜV NORD, a global leader in certification, inspection, and technical supervision, the press service of the MIIT reports.

TÜV NORD is an international organization specializing in certification and technical inspection. It provides conformity assessment services for products and management systems in accordance with international standards, including EU market requirements.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in conformity assessment and technical inspection, as well as strategies to enhance the quality of domestic products to meet international benchmarks.

Particular emphasis was placed on the potential presence of TÜV NORD in Uzbekistan through public-private partnerships (PPP) and measures to prepare domestic manufacturers for international markets by implementing global standards and developing testing infrastructure.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to initiate joint activities with local partners, including conducting inspections and issuing international certificates, with a long-term goal of establishing an official company branch in Uzbekistan.
