On September 19 of the current year, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Samad Hassanzadeh, the press service of the Ministry reports.
In the course of the talks, the sides considered topical issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation and identified promising areas for further cooperation in priority sectors of the economy.
Specific measures were worked out to increase the volume of mutual trade. Among other things, the issues of preferential trade regime between the two countries were considered.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the calendar of upcoming events. In particular, they “synchronized their watches” on the issues of organizing and holding the 16th regular session of the Intergovernmental Commission between Uzbekistan and Iran, as well as a joint business forum in the first quarter of 2025.
