A meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Entrepreneurs of Estonia

On March 28 this year, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D. Vakhabov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Uzbekistan with residence in Nur-Sultan Toomas Tirs.

It discussed issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as strengthening business cooperation between Uzbekistan and Estonia.

During the meeting, the foreign side was informed about the economic opportunities and investment potential of the country. Special attention was paid to the development of information technologies in our country.

The need for cooperation in the exchange of experience in the implementation of the textile industry, information technology, as well as in agriculture was also noted.

In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia T. Tiers noted that in recent years there has been a positive trend in relations between Estonia and Uzbekistan. Ties in the spheres of economy and culture have noticeably intensified. He also emphasized that in order to strengthen business cooperation and develop economic relations in general, interaction between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries is necessary, which are the main platform for business interaction.

In this regard, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.

At the end of the event, the parties expressed their hope for further cooperation in order to develop relations between the business circles of the two countries.
