A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Singapore to Uzbekistan

On August 11 of this year, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry D. Vakhabov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Zulkifli bin Baharudin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for further cooperation.

In particular, issues of the visit of business circles of Singapore to Uzbekistan, organization of business forums and B2B meetings between Uzbek and Singaporean entrepreneurs were discussed.

With the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Singapore, a visit of a delegation led by representatives of the Federation of Manufacturers of Singapore and the Singapore-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) is expected in September this year, and a visit of a delegation of Singapore business circles led by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is also planned. in October 2022.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged views about the planned joint events and the need to intensify mutual visits of business delegations of the two countries and the organization of business events.
