On June 7 this year, a meeting was held between the Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Saidkomil Saidnazirkhanov and the Chairman of the Japanese Business Club in the Republic of Uzbekistan Nakayama Shotara, the press service of the CCI reports.
The Japanese Business Club was established in 2014, partly at the initiative of the Japanese Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main goal of creating the Japanese Business Club is to expand cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the two organizations, as well as further development of projects to enhance cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan were discussed.
It should be noted that there are 46 enterprises with Japanese investments in Uzbekistan, including 30 with 100% Japanese capital. Their main areas of activity: oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries, production of power equipment, engineering and engineering products, provision of transport and logistics services, trade operations, education and tourism.
