A meeting was held with the head of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation

As part of the business program of his visit to the Republic of Korea, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Kim Bok-hwan, CEO of KIND Corporation, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in developing the country’s transport and social infrastructure. The parties welcomed the establishment of a joint investment platform.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of creating an integrated ecosystem—combining science, industry, and modern technologies—within the framework of the new project to establish a scientific-industrial bio-cluster.

The parties noted the need to prepare a master plan for developing the area surrounding the new Tashkent international airport, integrating the airport itself, advanced logistics hubs, and urban residential infrastructure into a unified system.
