On May 15, Deputy Minister of MIIT Akram Aliev met with Dmitry Nagorniy, Regional Director of the Chezh company Ferrit, the press service of the Ministry reports.
Founded in 1993, Ferrit specializes in the design and manufacture of mining equipment, as well as solutions for underground logistics and tunneling. By the end of 2024, the enterprise ranked among the world’s top 50 largest manufacturers of mining machinery. Today, the company maintains an extensive network of branches and service centers across nine countries, including China, Poland, Mexico, and Kazakhstan.
During the negotiations, the foreign party highly commended the investment climate established in Uzbekistan and expressed profound interest in implementing joint initiatives in the field of geology. Particular emphasis was placed on Ferrit’s readiness to launch the production of specialized mining equipment within the Republic.
The parties discussed in detail the prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and the introduction of modern technologies to manufacture high-value-added products. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish a joint working group tasked with developing effective investment collaboration mechanisms to ensure the prompt transition of the planned projects into the practical implementation phase.
