A meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov and the Representative of the Temporary Affairs of the Embassy of Georgia in Uzbekistan David Kotaria and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Representative Iraklii Kvanchakhadze, the press service of the CCI reports.
At the meeting, negotiations were held on the development of trade and economic relations between the countries of Uzbekistan and Georgia, on increasing the volume of export and import, and on the export of the products of these two countries to the foreign market.
Also, proposals were exchanged in the field of wine and tea production and logistics, and a number of issues aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
According to the results of the meeting, it was agreed to organize meetings with the participation of representatives of the Georgian business circles in cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries in order to get acquainted with the wide range of favorable opportunities available and to develop the field of entrepreneurship.
