Following the talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze signed a Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relations, the press service of the head of our state reports.
A number of bilateral documents were also exchanged in the presence of the heads of delegation. These included:
– Agreement on Cooperation and Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters;
– Agreement on Cooperation in Information and Communication Technologies and Digitalization;
– Agreement on Cooperation in Professional and Higher Education, Science, and Innovation;
– Cooperation Program between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Georgia for 2026-2027;
– Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of Georgia for 2027-2030;
– Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Finance of Georgia;
– Memorandum of Cooperation on the Implementation of the “E-Permit” Electronic Permit Exchange Information System;
– Memorandum of Understanding in Agriculture;
– Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Environmental Protection;
– Memorandum of Understanding in Healthcare;
– Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Information Exchange on Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety;
– Memorandum of Understanding on Labor Migration;
– Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Tourism.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed between the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Bureau of Enforcement under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
