Uzbekistan and Great Britain: new opportunities for deepening cooperation

The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held talks with the Chief Executive Officer of the UK Export Finance Agency (UKEF) Tim Reid. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation. This was reported by the PR center of the MIIT.

During the meeting, a two-fold increase in the volume of bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and the UK last year was noted with satisfaction.

At the meeting, the interest of the British side was expressed to participate in financing large investment projects in Uzbekistan for the construction of roads, solar and wind power plants, mining and processing of minerals.
