Uzbekistan increases textile product exports

In January 2022, Uzbekistan exported 3.3 thousand tons of textile products to 14 countries for $18.8 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the export of textile products increased by $2.1 million compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting, Uzbekistan exported textile products mainly to the following countries:
– Russia – $7.3 million;
– Kyrgyzstan – $5.6 million;
– Italy – $2.4 million;
– Ukraine – $1.1 million.
The regions that exported the most textile products in January 2022:
– Tashkent city – $9.3 million;
– Tashkent region – $3.2 million;
– Andijan region – $1.9 million;
– Bukhara region – $1.2 million.
