Uzbek businesses expand access to the markets of Belgium, Luxembourg and other European countries

An Uzbek business delegation visited Belgium and Luxembourg, where it held talks with European companies and reached a number of practical agreements, the correspondent of the Dunyo news agency reports.

During the visit, B2B meetings were held with representatives of local and European businesses. The parties discussed investment, transport connectivity, access to EU markets, financial cooperation, and the development of digital services.

A meeting with the participation of representatives of the European Commission and the European Investment Bank was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium. The main topics included investment cooperation, the Global Gateway initiative, transport infrastructure, and engagement with the private sector.

Following the talks, the parties reached agreements on expanding trade and economic cooperation, developing logistics links, supplying Uzbek products to the Belgian market, as well as technological and investment cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
