A number of new investment projects with the participation of Chinese business are planned to be implemented in the region of Uzbekistan, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
According to the khokimiyat of the Tashkent region, a delegation of representatives of local authorities of the city of Nurafshan held talks with the management of the largest Chinese company ‘‘Extol Global Capital Pte. Ltd’’ and other investors from Zhejiang Province.
It is noted that the region plans to create a cluster of building materials, as well as build a plant for the production of cosmetics, a residential complex, a hotel and a restaurant in the business district of ‘‘Nurafshon Business City’’.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on the joint implementation of new investment projects for a total of 106 million US dollars. In order to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the reached investment and trade and economic agreements, a ‘‘Road Map’’ has been developed.
It is also reported that representatives of delegations of such cities of the Tashkent region as Yangiyul, Almalyk and Angren held talks with entrepreneurs and investors from the provinces of China, as a result of which it is planned to implement new production projects.
