Prospects for cooperation between enterprises in the regions of Uzbekistan and China were discussed in Guangzhou

Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met with the President of the Committee for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (CCPIT GZ), Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Guangzhou Yang Yong, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

CCPIT GZ is an organization that supports the activities of local companies and enterprises and protects their interests. Its members are manufacturing, trading, financial, legal, technological, tourism, airlines, and banks. The main activity is protecting the business interests of members, exchanging experiences, organizing exhibitions and events.

At the meeting, the Chinese side was presented with information about the opportunities created today in Uzbekistan in the economic and social sphere, improving the business environment, and increasing the investment and export potential of local enterprises.

The Chinese side noted that Guangzhou manufacturing companies are interested in expanding economic ties with Uzbek entrepreneurs.

The parties emphasized the importance of expanding interregional cooperation and making full use of the existing capabilities of both parties, establishing cooperative ties in the manufacturing industry, and taking advantage of the opportunities for products jointly created in Uzbekistan to enter the markets of Central Asia, the CIS and Europe.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a delegation of representatives of the Guangzhou business community to our country.
