Development of trade and economic cooperation was discussed in Guangzhou

Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou held a meeting with board member of the Dongguan Center for the Promotion of Foreign Investments Windy Feng and honorary president of the Dongguan Jewelry Industry Association Haifao Huang, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

During the negotiations, representatives of the center and the association, heads of member companies were invited to Uzbekistan to participate in the Uzbek-Chinese business forum, which is scheduled to be held in the Syrdarya region on June 24-25.

At the meeting, an exchange of ideas took place on the implementation of projects and investments in our country in such areas as electrical engineering, consumer goods, textile products, agricultural processing, and the jewelry industry.

The Chinese side was informed in detail about the tourism, investment opportunities and export potential of our country.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to use the possibilities of the center to establish cooperation between businessmen of Uzbekistan and representatives of the business circles of Dongguan.

The parties agreed to export processed food products produced by entrepreneurs of the Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions to the south of China, as well as to facilitate the conclusion of export contracts and cooperation agreements by establishing direct relations with Chinese companies.
