The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambayev spoke about the essence and significance of large-scale reforms being implemented in the education system of our country at an international conference in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dedicated to issues of mutual cultural enrichment and cooperation in the field of education, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
The participants of the event, organized in cooperation with the non-governmental organization ‘‘Global Trade & Technology Council’’ and the higher educational institution ‘‘Th. Har Narayan Singh Group of Colleges’’, familiarized themselves in detail with the reforms being implemented in the field of education of our country, the results of the care and attention provided by the state to representatives of this industry.
The scale of Uzbek-Indian cooperation in this area was of particular interest.
It was emphasized that more than 5 thousand young people from India study in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, and Uzbek boys and girls master the skills of such competitive and in-demand specialties as information technology, medicine, pharmaceuticals, linguistics and others in Indian universities. The campuses of Amity and Sharda Universities, Acharya and Sambhram Groups of Institutes are successfully operating in Uzbekistan.
As part of the event, colorful information about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was presented. In particular, it was noted that about 15 weekly flights have been launched between the two countries, which are carried out on the Tashkent-Delhi-Tashkent and Tashkent-Mumbai-Tashkent routes.
During the talks with business representatives during the trip to the cities of Prayagraj and Varanasi in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the prospects for activating interregional cooperation, implementing new projects, exchanging delegations of entrepreneurs, holding joint business forums were discussed, and the trade, economic, investment, export and tourism potential of our country was presented.
