On April 29, the Chinese city of Nanjing hosted a large-scale roadshow and business forum featuring leading companies from the People’s Republic of China, the press service of the MIIT reports. The delegation was headed by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Export-Import Bank of China. It brought together executives and experts from over 70 major corporations, many of which are ranked among China’s top 500 companies.

During the presentation, guests were introduced to the investment opportunities, industrial potential, and priority development sectors of Uzbekistan. Special emphasis was placed on the investment appeal of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Jizzakh region, and the city of Tashkent.

Alongside the presentation of new strategic initiatives, Chinese partners shared their insights on the successful implementation of ongoing projects in Uzbekistan. The meeting served as a vital platform forstrengthening bilateral economic cooperation and attracting capital into the country’s key industries.
