The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Khatamov met with the CEO of Oman’s largest logistics company, ‘‘Asyad Group’’, Abdurrahman al-Hatmi, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
During the meeting, issues of establishing investment cooperation were discussed.
The Omani businessman noted that he is closely monitoring the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and expressed his readiness to cooperate with Uzbek partners and visit our country in the second half of the year.
‘‘Asyad Group’’, established in 2016, is a leading integrated logistics provider in Oman and is managed by the Oman Investment Agency. The company’s main activity is the provision of logistics services. The company operates a fleet of more than 85 vessels, including tankers, bulk carriers and container ships. The company offers a wide range of logistics services, including forwarding, warehousing and transportation. It has its own container terminals in all major ports of Oman. The assets of ‘‘Asyad Group’’ amount to $4 billion.
