On November 22 of the current year, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the delegation of the investment Benefit Corporation Meridiam headed by Director for Eurasia Remy Hassenforder, the Information service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance reports.
Deputy Ministers Bobur Khodjaev and Jasur Karshibaev, as well as Director of the Department for the Development of Public-Private Partnership and Reduction of State Functions Abdukodir Yakubov also participated in the meeting from the Uzbek side. Toriki Peru Business Development Coordinator represented the foreign side.

At the meeting, Director Remy Hassenforder presented the investment fund and its activities, including the realised projects of the fund in social infrastructure in different countries. During the meeting, he expressed his interest in realising a number of projects related to the construction of innovative schools and new-level hospitals.
During the discussion, Minister of Economy and Finance, Jamshid Kuchkarov, deliberated on the potential implementation of a project focused on the establishment of innovative schools throughout various areas of the republic. Minister Kuchkarov expressed his endorsement of this idea. Simultaneously, the parties engaged in deliberations about the potential and outlook for executing ventures in transport infrastructure, namely the development of the Bukhara-Samarkand and Tashkent-Andijan highways under the framework of public-private partnerships.
Upon the conclusion of the meeting, the involved parties conveyed their willingness to engage in future collaboration and provide reciprocal assistance in the execution of projects.
