A meeting with the Ambassador of Pakistan was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On January 5, 2023, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Said Ali Asad Gilani, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

During the meeting, the prospects for further strengthening the Uzbek-Pakistani trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as other topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed.

The importance of the practical implementation of the agreements reached between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the framework of events at the highest and high levels was noted.

An exchange of views took place on the final indicators of interaction in 2022.
