On 15 December, a meeting was held at the MIIT between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and the delegation of the Chinese company ZTT Group, the press service of the Ministry reports.
The Chinese delegation was provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, available government support measures, as well as current tax and customs incentives for foreign investors. Particular attention was given to the favorable conditions created in the country for industrial localization and the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.
The meeting also featured a presentation on the opportunities offered by the Navoiy FEZ. The delegation was briefed on its advantageous geographical location, availability of ready engineering and utility infrastructure, conditions for the placement of industrial facilities, and investor support mechanisms based on the “single window” principle.
Representatives of ZTT Group expressed their interest in implementing an investment project within the Navoiy FEZ. The parties agreed to identify priority areas of cooperation, and further elaborate the technical and economic parameters of a potential project.
