The official opening of the trading pavilion for Uzbek manufacturers took place in Moscow at Sadovod, one of the largest commercial complexes in Russia, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade reports.
The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Agency for the Development of Light Industry to promote national brands in the Russian market. The ceremony was attended by Director of the Agency Nozim Kholmuradov and Director of the MIIT Directorate – general Inomjon Abdurakhmonov.
Retail outlets and warehouse spaces have been centrally leased and allocated to domestic enterprises in the textile, footwear, and apparel sectors. The site hosts 38 retail points where Uzbek companies are already showcasing their products – from clothing and shoes to home textiles and accessories.
The new trading platform opens up broad opportunities for direct sales, partnership contracts with Russian buyers, and strengthening the presence of national brands in one of the largest consumer markets in the country.
In addition to offline sales, Uzbek manufacturers will also be able to promote their products through major Russian online platforms – Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex.Market, and Avito, ensuring nationwide access and visibility for Uzbek brands.
