The II Economic Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization began its work in Tashkent

The Second Economic Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) began its work under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan this morning in the city of Tashkent, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports from “Uzexpocentre”

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and Deputy Secretary General of the SCO Erik Ashimov addressed the forum participants with greetings.

During the two days, the participants will discuss the development of mutually beneficial trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, develop effective measures to build ties in the SCO space.

The program of the forum will include plenary sessions, panel sessions, bilateral meetings, B2B contacts.

The forum is designed to become an effective platform not only for establishing intergovernmental dialogue, but also for interaction between representatives of business circles and enterprises, as well as attracting investors to the regions of the SCO space.
