On October 20, 2025, the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum was held in Tashkent, organized with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, the press service of the MIIT reports.
The event brought together more than 100 representatives of ministries, sectoral associations, and companies from both countries, including QazTrade, Kedentransservis, iMas Group, Medial Group, Asyl Dan Trade, StalTsink, Empire Food, and others.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Khurram Teshabayev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Aidar Abildabekov, Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, who emphasized the high level of bilateral cooperation and the shared commitment to further deepen the partnership.
From January to September 2025, bilateral trade turnover reached USD 3.5 billion (+16%), with Uzbek exports totaling USD 1.1 billion (+7%). Currently, 1157 enterprises with Kazakhstani capital operate in Uzbekistan.
The forum featured presentations on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, G2B and B2B meetings, and concluded with the signing of cooperation agreements in the food industry, construction, and agro-industrial sectors.
