Tashkent hosted the Uzbek-Turkish business forum

On September 22 this year, a business forum and bilateral B2B negotiations with the participation of businessmen of Uzbekistan and Turkey, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkey “MÜSİAD” took place in the conference hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel.

MÜSİAD is an organization representing 60,000 companies, with more than 12,500 members at home and abroad, employing about 1,800,000 people. Today, the organization provides services in 164 points in 81 countries abroad, with 83 points of contact in Turkey. This is a “Non-Governmental Organization” that communicates its recommendations, opinions and proposals of its members to government agencies and organizations.

The first deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov, the representative of the MÜSİAD business association Mahmut Asmaly, the representative of the MÜSİAD branch in Uzbekistan Serdar Kelebek, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar spoke at the event.

During the forum, Turkish entrepreneurs got acquainted with the work carried out in Uzbekistan to further improve the investment environment, liberalize the economy, protect the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs.

About 150 business entities operating in our country took part in the forum. The talks also discussed the prospects for further development of Uzbek-Turkish trade and economic cooperation, including the exchange of ideas on deepening partnerships between the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Turkey.

The Turkish side also invited Uzbek entrepreneurs to participate in the MÜSİAD EXPO 2022 exhibition. The exhibition is held by MÜSİAD every two years, and this year it is expected to receive over 100,000 visitors and delegates from 124 countries.

It is worth noting that on September 21, the grand opening of the MÜSİAD branch in Uzbekistan took place.
