Promising areas of Uzbek-Iranian trade, economic, investment and tourism cooperation were discussed in Tabriz

The diplomats visited the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, where they met with the Chairman of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture Yunus Jaele, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

A business forum was held under the co-chairmanship of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev, which brought together heads of leading companies and representatives of the region’s business community. The event included a presentation of the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

The participants were informed about the reforms carried out in our country, the conditions created and benefits for investors and entrepreneurs.

Iranian businessmen highly appreciated the reforms and expressed interest in increasing the volume of mutual trade between the two countries. In this regard, issues of holding a business forum in Tashkent in 2025 with the participation of representatives of the Iranian business community were discussed.

Entrepreneurs from Tabriz also familiarized themselves with a list of promising projects of interest to Iranian business. They were offered opportunities to participate in these initiatives.
