A delegation of entrepreneurs from Japan visited the Fergana region for business talks, Spot reports with reference to UzA.
The guests were received by the khokim of the region Khairullo Bazarov. One of the main topics of the meeting was the construction by NAGAI Clinic of the Japanese town of medicine and health improvement on the territory of the future eco-town in Fergana.
The project includes 20 health facilities, 11 clinics in various areas, two pharmacies, a sports and recreation complex and a medical training center. The Japanese side is investing $8.72 million in it.
The township will sit next to a planned $15 million Shogun City hotel, restaurant and garden complex. The deal was signed with Micado Development during a delegation from the region to Japan last December.
There are also plans to place a Daiso brand supermarket in the complex. Negotiations with one of the leading companies in Japan in the field of health and beauty products have entered the final stage.
After the meeting, the head of NAGAI Clinic, Koji Nagai, received a certificate of state registration of his company in the region. Also, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the regional khokimiyat and a foreign enterprise.
Bazarov also held talks with the head of Micado Development Okuda Takefumi. The Japanese businessman announced the expansion of the capacity of Shogun City and the increase in the number of rooms in the future hotel from 60 to 100. Construction is scheduled to begin in October.
