Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting with a delegation of Turkish businessmen

Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with a delegation of Turkish businessmen headed by Chairman of BALKANSIAD Association Fatih Sharif, the press service of the Ministry reports. Representatives of 18 leading Turkish companies also attended the meeting.

Prospects of cooperation in the spheres of healthcare, infrastructural development, metallurgy, machine building were discussed with emphasis on involvement of Turkish companies in joint realization of projects. Special attention was paid to the development of projects on construction of water treatment facilities and production of automatic glass doors, dental implants and equipment for the furniture industry.

As a result of the negotiations the format of further cooperation was worked out and the stages of practical realization of the discussed projects and initiatives were defined. The sides expressed mutual confidence that the outlined plans will become another step in the process of deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
