The Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade met with the Ambassador of India

On June 8, Shokhrukh Gulamov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Smita Pant, Ambassador of India, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The discussions focused on advancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, expanding mutually beneficial ties, and effectively leveraging existing opportunities.

Both parties highlighted the consistent development of friendly relations and the significant potential to broaden collaboration across various sectors. They also exchanged views on intensifying their partnership and supporting joint initiatives.

Special attention was given to the preparations for the 14th session of the Uzbek-Indian Intergovernmental Commission, scheduled to take place on June 18 in Tashkent. The strategic importance of this upcoming event in strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing its practical outcomes was underscored.
