Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with Johanna Maria Ogren, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The discussions focused on prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, attracting Finnish companies to implement new projects in Uzbekistan, and developing direct ties between the business communities of the two countries.
The parties noted the growing interest of Finnish businesses in the Uzbek market and agreed to make more active use of existing cooperation mechanisms, including the Intergovernmental Commission and sector-specific business forums.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to advance concrete joint projects and further strengthen long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
