Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting with representatives of the European climate company Acta Climate Solutions

On 4 December, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with representatives of the European climate company Acta Climate Solutions, the press service of the Ministry reports.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed potential areas of cooperation related to the decarbonization of the economy, enhancing environmental sustainability, and developing modern approaches to forest resource management.

The sides exchanged views on restoring natural landscapes, strengthening the capacity of the forestry sector, and introducing long-term nature-based solutions aimed at carbon absorption and climate adaptation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further elaborate possible formats of cooperation, including coordination with relevant ministries and agencies and the identification of priority areas for subsequent joint work.
