The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Uzbekistan

On October 6, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with H.E. Wafa Jabr Nasir Al-Busaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The meeting addressed the current state and prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The importance of accelerating the implementation of the investment project portfolio across a number of sectors was emphasized.

It was noted that since July 4, Oman Air has operated two regular direct flights per week on the Muscat–Tashkent route, contributing to the further development of business ties between the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to timely complete preparations for the planned bilateral events, ensure the practical advancement of the agreements reached, and continue systematic efforts to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman.
