The delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Badriddin Abidov, took part in a number of major bilateral and international events in Paris, the PR center of the MIIT reports.
In particular, during the annual forum of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) “Eurasia Week”, the current economic development of Eurasian countries was presented, and issues of further improving the investment climate, entrepreneurship development, digitalization, transition to a “green” economy, expansion of transport and logistics corridors of the countries of the region were discussed.
Within the framework of Uzbek-French political consultations and a joint round table with French companies at MEDEF International, current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment partnerships, were discussed.
During the visit, meetings were also held with OECD Secretary General M. Cormann and other senior staff of the organization.
