Uzbekistan Showcases the Export Potential of Its Agro-Industrial Sector at Belagro 2026 International Exhibition
From June 2 to 6, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the business community, is participating in the Belagro 2026 International Exhibition and Fair held in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. This was reported by the Information Service and Communications Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The event serves as an important platform for promoting the export potential of Uzbekistan’s agro-industrial sector on the international stage, establishing new trade partnerships, and further strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the exhibition, Uzagrostar Holding Company, operating under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is presenting Uzbekistan’s national pavilion, showcasing domestically produced agricultural and food products to international partners. The national stand provides visitors with an opportunity to explore the capabilities of Uzbekistan’s agro-industrial sector, the quality of its products, and its export opportunities.
The Uzbekistan pavilion has attracted considerable interest from exhibition participants and visitors. During the official opening ceremony, it was visited by Yuriy Shuleyko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and Andrey Yakovchits, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, who reviewed the products on display and learned about Uzbekistan’s export opportunities.
In addition, B2B meetings are being organized with representatives of more than ten major Belarusian retail chains. Negotiations are being held with companies including Eurotorg, Santa Retail, BelVillesden, GRINroznitsa, UniStore Group, Resttrade, and other leading retailers.
The discussions focus on supplying Uzbek products to the Belarusian market, expanding trade volumes, and developing long-term mutually beneficial partnerships.
