European companies are exploring opportunities for cooperation with Uzbekistan in the production of chemical products

With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main, a delegation of representatives of European companies visited JSC Navoiyazot, where they became acquainted with the enterprise’s production capacity, modern technological processes, and prospects for expanding export cooperation, the correspondent of Dunyo News Agency reports.

During the visit, the foreign partners were given a detailed presentation on the company’s operations, its current production performance, export capabilities, and plans to expand production capacity through 2030.

The German delegation included Paweł Polanowski, representative for international markets at the Frankfurt branch of ANWIL S.A.; Arkadiusz Zuzaniuk, Chief Executive Officer and owner of the logistics company Treeden Group; Pavlo Otarashvili, Director of the investment company Engineering Project Group; and Marcin Piotr Białaszek, Executive Director and owner of Polish Agriculture Development Corporation Sp. z o.o.

Particular attention was devoted to familiarizing the delegation with the main production facilities of JSC Navoiyazot. Representatives of European businesses visited the workshops for the production and packaging of urea and other chemical products, studied the technological processes and modern packaging lines, and examined the organization of logistics operations, including the shipment of finished products by rail and in specialized tank containers for export to foreign markets.

As part of the visit program, the delegation held a meeting with Farhod Samadov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Navoiyazot, as well as with the heads of the company’s specialized departments. The parties discussed prospects for expanding export cooperation, improving logistics routes, implementing joint investment projects, and modernizing existing production facilities.

The company’s management informed the foreign partners about opportunities to supply a wide range of chemical products to the European market, including urea, urea-ammonium nitrate solution (UAN), and AdBlue fluid, which complies with international environmental standards and is used in modern diesel engines.

Representatives of the European companies highly praised the production potential of JSC Navoiyazot and the quality of its products. They expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation and proposed considering the establishment of production of new types of chemical products in demand in the markets of Central European countries, as well as the introduction of advanced European technologies and equipment for the further modernization of the enterprise.

Following the negotiations, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing a long-term partnership and agreed to establish a joint working group that will prepare practical proposals for implementing investment projects, modernizing production facilities, organizing supplies of JSC Navoiyazot products to the European market, and further expanding investment and export cooperation.
