The investment, export and tourism potential of Uzbekistan was presented in the Chinese city of Xi’an

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in China organized a presentation of trade, economic, investment and tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan in Shaanxi province, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The event was attended by representatives of the provincial government, the Committee for the Promotion of International Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, associations of manufacturers and trade and industrial enterprises and business circles representing the fields of agriculture, textiles, logistics, tourism, food processing, construction and pharmaceuticals.

The event participants got acquainted with information about the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and the opportunities created in our country for foreign investors.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of International Trade of Shaanxi Province, Jia Zhenglan, positively assessed the trade, economic and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan and called on entrepreneurs of the province to invest in new projects in our country.

“In 2023, mutual trade turnover between Shaanxi and Uzbekistan amounted to $485 million. The Xi’an-Tashkent Express made 284 trips. Regular flights between Xi’an-Tashkent-Xi’an have been opened”, – stated Jia Zhenglan.

Guests of the event were also provided with information about high-quality export products produced in Uzbekistan.

Participants were invited to take part in the III Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on May 2-3.
