The Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade met with a delegation from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)

On June 11, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, met with a delegation from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), led by Chief Policy Officer Carolyn Vik, the press service of the MIIT reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further expanding investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, strengthening the strategic partnership with the DFC, and financing investment projects.

The negotiations focused significantly on establishing a Joint Investment Platform, selecting high-potential projects, and developing mechanisms for their financing.

The officials also exchanged views on priority projects in the transport, healthcare, and public infrastructure sectors, as well as the DFC’s involvement in their implementation.

Concluding the talks, both sides agreed to further deepen investment cooperation, promote joint initiatives, and sustain practical progress on prospective projects.
