The prospects for establishing cooperation between the Bukhara, Fergana regions and the Sergeli district of Tashkent with the regions of Kuwait were discussed

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov held online meetings with the khokim of the Fergana region Khairulla Bozorov, the deputy khokim of the Bukhara region for investments and foreign trade Riza Asadov and the khokim of the Sergeli district of Tashkent Elbek Shukurov, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The meeting participants discussed the prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Kuwait, further developing interregional ties, and attracting foreign investment in promising projects.

It was noted that investment projects will become widespread among large Kuwaiti businessmen. It was also noted that support will be provided in organizing separate negotiations with business representatives interested in implementing these projects.

In addition, the parties exchanged views on issues of ensuring the participation of representatives of the khokimiyats of the Fergana and Bukhara regions and business circles in the Uzbek-Kuwaiti business forum, which is scheduled to be held on May 13-14 in Kuwait.
