Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Lithuania were discussed

On April 4, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry D.Vahabov and the President of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists V.Yanulyavichyus. This was reported by the press service of the CCI.

July 30, 2013 a cooperation agreement was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, but the intensification of cooperation between the two countries was not implemented.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics, and proposals for expanding cooperation between the business circles of the two countries were discussed.

The parties also reached an agreement on the establishment of the Uzbek-Lithuanian Business Council in order to constantly promote the development of business cooperation and resolve emerging problems between the business entities of the two countries.

As the result of the meeting, it was agreed to organize a visit to Lithuania in order to sign an Agreement on the establishment of a joint Business Council.
