A meeting was held between representatives of the foreign enterprise POSCO International Textile LLC and Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade

On 27 January of this year, a meeting was held between representatives of the foreign enterprise POSCO International Textile LLC and Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the MIIT reports.

POSCO International Textile LLC was established in 1996 by Daewoo International Corporation (currently POSCO Daewoo Corporation) and specializes in the production of fabrics and yarn. Since 2021, the enterprise has been operating as a cotton-textile cluster.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the company’s operations in Uzbekistan, ongoing projects, and prospects for further strengthening cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the prompt resolution of certain organizational issues arising in the interaction between the enterprise and farming entities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue an open and constructive dialogue, address existing issues in a pragmatic manner, and elevate cooperation to a new stage through the implementation of new projects.
