A meeting with a delegation from Hyundai Heavy Industries Power Systems, Korea District Heating Corporation, and the Korea Institute for Climate Change was held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry reports.
During the meeting, a project to build a combined heat and power (CHP) plant using agricultural waste was discussed. The parties reviewed the project concept, proposed technological solutions, as well as the integration of the generated heat into the district heating system and the project’s implementation prospects.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further advancing the project aimed at developing green energy, improving energy efficiency, and strengthening investment cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
