Uzbekistan is expanding economic cooperation with China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met with Yang Yanyan, Chairman of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

During the talks, the current state of bilateral trade, economic, and investment relations, as well as prospects for their further development, were discussed.

The parties agreed to develop a schedule of mutual visits and joint events for 2026, as well as to conduct business missions for business representatives.

Yang Yanyan praised the level of cooperation with Uzbekistan and expressed her readiness to expand partnerships in such sectors as mechanical engineering and automotive manufacturing, agriculture and agricultural processing, and tourism.

Furthermore, the parties agreed on the organizational arrangements for the participation of the Uzbek delegation with a national stand at the CAEXPO exhibition, which will be held in Nanning this September.
