Uzbek agricultural products will be supplied to Birmingham

Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov met with the President of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nasir Awan, the correspondent of «Dunyo» reports.

Founded in 1813, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the most prestigious organizations in the country. The Chamber helps to maintain, develop and establish international relations between companies in the region. Currently, the members of the structure are more than 3,100 large enterprises operating in various fields.

The parties discussed the implementation of investment projects in the fields of light and chemical industries, alternative energy sources, trade, and exchange of experience between economic zones and industrial parks of the two countries.

Preliminary agreements have been reached on the supply of agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan to the markets of Birmingham, as well as the organization of meetings in B2B format and the organization of trade missions of British companies to Uzbekistan.
