Negotiations were held at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan with the head of “ESG Clean Energy” LLC, Dietrich Fetch, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
During the meeting, the German side was informed in detail about the political and socio-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, the ongoing work to provide preferences to foreign investors, as well as the main directions of state policy in the field of the use of renewable energy sources.
The German side expressed interest in the implementation of the project in Uzbekistan, in particular, the introduction of innovative technologies and scientific and technical developments in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. At the same time, the company is already implementing similar projects in the US, Canada, Germany and other countries.
In addition, in order to further develop bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and establish a direct dialogue between business representatives to explore the possibility of implementing joint investment projects, Dietrich Fetsch proposed to consider the establishment of the Uzbek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Frankfurt am Main.
At the end of the conversation, the company’s management expressed its readiness to visit Uzbekistan for a more detailed discussion of the above projects with the relevant Uzbek departments.
