The economic potential of Uzbekistan was presented in China’s Hunan province

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan presented the country’s trade, economic, investment and tourism potential in the Chinese city of Changsha as part of the forum “Interregional Trade and Economic Cooperation among Central Asian Countries”, the correspondent of Dunyo news agency reports.

Representatives of more than 100 companies operating in Hunan Province took part in the event. The diplomats highlighted the potential of Uzbekistan’s regions and key growth industries, its favourable business environment, and projects open to foreign investor participation.

During meetings with local companies held on the sidelines of the forum, the participants discussed prospects for developing joint projects in such areas as green energy, construction, mining and information and communication technologies (ICT). The sides also agreed to organise business missions to Uzbekistan.
